Another busy WTS event that saw the women’s and mens No.1 athletes take first place in what was a very hot day for this year’s Japan event. The mercury touched thirty degrees in the early afternoon as the men battled it out with France’s Vincent Luis taking first place. Earlier in the day, saw a one, two, three for the USA, Katie Zaferes taking first with Summer Rappaport and Taylor Spivey in second and third place.

A fantastic fourth pace finish for Japan’s No.1 Yuko Takahashi should help consolidate her place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics team.

Great Britain’s Alex Yee, 19, secured fifth place.
